A total of 53 homes sold during the 3rd quarter of 2018 in Wallingford PA falling 9 homes short of last year. Sales in August took a big dip compared to last year with 15 sales as opposed to 26 sales in August 2018. However,the average selling price increased 18.7% compared to last year coming in at $385,492

The 39 single family homes that sold during the quarter saw their average selling price increase by $45,628, increasing 11.4% from $399,627 to $445,255. Single homes averaged 41 days on the market during the quarter.

With one more quarter to go in the year the number of Wallingford homes sold is 6 less than last year, with 178 closed transactions recorded through the end of September. The average selling price has seen a increase of 8.0% from $329,196 for the first 9 months of last year to an average of $355,695 for the July through September time frame in 2019.

There were 23 homes sold in July, 15 in August, and 15 in September.

The 2nd quarter of 2019 in Wallingford PA recorded a total of 83 homes sold surpassing last year’s volume by 2 homes and saw the average selling price increase by 3.9% to $358,286. Total dollar sales volume rose to $29,737,767, and days on market decreased 5.3% to an average of 54 vs 57 last year.

The core category of single family homes posted 62 sales with an average selling price of $407,087 compared to 57 single homes selling last year with an average selling price of $417,512 – a 2.5% decrease.

April recorded 22 sales, May 27 sales, and 34 homes were sold in June.
